Hi Vassan,
I read the blogs today. I tried to read it before, but
the fonts were not clear. I guess that problem has
been taken care now.
Also, happy to hear thru the blog that there is no
room for narrow mindedness about language,religion or
politics. Let us maintain the same, in the coming
years. I am giving my ideas here. Pls discuss this
with the other members of the 'aalosanai kuzhu' and
get back with the feedback. It will be better to have
the discussion in the group, because then we may get
more ideas from other members reading this article.
To move our country forward, we have to identify all
the problems and list them. There are some gigantic
problems like corruption, which this group cannot
attack at this stage. But at the same time, that is
one of our long term objectives to atain.
We have to go for practical , yet easy to use approach
to attain goals. For example, to solve the 'water
problem' in Tamilnadu, we always think of building
dams to save the rainwater. But the practical approach
like 'rain water harvesting' did the trick, without
much investment and time.
So, let us first list the problems and have a brain
storming session to get ideas. Then, let the 'core
members' group decide on which is the best and then we
shall go for implementing them.
For all this, there is a need for increasing the
visibilty of the group. But when we do that, we may
need to encounter other problems like focussing on the
task(large group easily gets distracted),spam, lot of
enthusiastic people wanting to lead, war of words etc.
But if we get some people who are really good, then we
should not heisitate to make them our leaders.
However, if there is a time, when the leader has to
leve the group, then still the group should carry on.
Then let us get to an english blog sooner, because we
do not want to alienate the non-tamils. I am proud to
be a tamilian, but we need english to attain our goal
as 'Mightier India'.
So, let us start the simple, but important first steps
now.
